Tabletop Game Captions

Images are a common tool when writing about board games to draw the reader in, convey important concepts or information, highlight key elements of the game, and generally accentuate your main content. Both within your article and on various social media platforms, a decent image speaks for itself, often only needing brief context in form of captions. As such, this Challenge is about brevity – honing your ability to keep things concise.

So, without further ado, here are my attempts at some witty captions for games I’ve never played! Hopefully at least one draws a chuckle.

Yet again, yellow messed up everyone’s daily commute.
The Vagabond already second guessed this treaty with the Marquise.
Dorothy’s accusation of Rose with the cheesecake in the living room might have won the game but would not help Sophia.
Brody wasn’t sure the “hug the shark” tactic would work as planned.
Frank Castle pondered the life decisions that led to this point.
Reiner cursed as the alpaca photo bombed yet another perfect shot.
Morton hoped this pancake tasted better than the last one.
